Memorial Day means summer is coming...finally! Time to kick back, forget your troubles, enjoy the sun...and EAT! We're starting our summer with these lip smacking, sweet and savory Lit'l Smokies!
The secret IS in the sauce with these simple ingredients: 2 packages of Lit'l Smokies cocktail sausages. 12 oz bottle of chili sauce. 10 oz of grape jelly...add more if you like it sweeter!
Mix all ingredients in a crock pot or on a stove top on low/simmer until the sauce thickens and clings to the sausages. It's better the longer it simmers!
Once you pop, you can't stop! Bring on the Summer!
Using small pieces of tape, we made our way around the pot creating a straight line.
We painted a base coat of acrylic white paint to help make the neon pop. Once the base coat was dry, It took a few coats of acrylic neon paint to get it lookin' faboo!
