Andrew made these cut-outs! |
1 20oz can of crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 21oz can cherry pie filling
1 box of yellow or white cake mix
1 stick of butter
Dump undrained pineapple into a 9x13 baking dish and spread evenly. Using a spoon, dump globs of cherry pie filling evenly on top and spread it out. Sprinkle on dry cake mix to cover fruit. Cut stick of butter into small slice and distribute evenly over top of cake mix (you might need a little more butter to cover evenly).
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
Happy Dumping...and President's Day!

LOVE dump cakes! For a fun twist, you can use devil food's cake mix in the place of the yellow for a Black Forest Dump Cake :-)
