A dessert fit for a President!

"People are just as happy as they make up their minds up to be."
        -Abraham Lincoln.

Andrew made these cut-outs!
What will make you happy is this Cherry Dump Cake!

1 20oz can of crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 21oz can cherry pie filling
1 box of yellow or white cake mix
1 stick of butter

Dump undrained pineapple into a 9x13 baking dish and spread evenly.  Using a spoon, dump globs of cherry pie filling evenly on top and spread it out.  Sprinkle on dry cake mix to cover fruit.  Cut stick of butter into small slice and distribute evenly over top of cake mix (you might need a little more butter to cover evenly).
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.

Happy Dumping...and President's Day!

Crafty love.

Some fun crafts we made from the heart.

Upcycled jars.  So romantical!
So easy to make for a classic Valentine's Day look.
Great for candy, flowers or candles!
Glue seasonal ribbon around your tea lights
for a festive look.
Sprinkles...not just for baking anymore.
The print in the frame was cut from a gift bag bought
at the dollar store!
Tiny message in a bottle.
Painted dollar store dinosaurs.

ROAR!  You're DINO-MITE!

All you need is love!

The holidays are over, but don't fret...love is in the air.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

Last year we made these Valentine's inspired by a kit from the Paper Source.
To save money we made our own from scratch!  Pretty cute, right?!

This year we had time to come up with our own!
Retro Robots!  Tada!

We loved these little guys so much, we had to decorate with them!

We're nuts and bolts about YOU!
