Keeping my eye on you!

I spy with my little eye...these spooky eye magnets!

We traced and cut white paper around the flat glass stone for the eyeball.
For the detail on the iris, we drew lines with a ruler and a pen.
Everything was cut out freehand, we didn't want them to look perfect.

Once our eyes were all cut out and glued together we used Mod Podge to adhere them to the stone and hot glued a magnet to the back.
Badda bing, badda boom!

We love how the stones make the eyes look glassy.

Here's looking at you, kid.

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!

Believe it or not, Halloween is just around the corner!
We like a smooth transition from our fall and autumn crafts into our spooky Halloween decor.
This year we're starting a subtle change over with our black paper mini bats.

We cut our little friends free hand out of black construction paper and added glowing red rhinestones.
Our bats are hanging from floral wire and dying to catch your eye!
Mwahahahaha!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na, BATMAN!

Going batty?!

Smells of the Season.

Make your home smell like pumpkin spice with a hint of latte!

This is great after you've baked your pumpkin goodie.
Use the left over pumpkin you can't get out of the can...scrape all you want, but you'll never get it all out! (We used Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix, it's all we could find!)
Before you recycle your can, fill it with warm water, swish it around and dump it in a sauce pan.
Add the other ingredients and place on a low setting burner!
Don't let the water completely evaporate, keep refilling.
One mix stays good for about a week!

Keep it smelling like pumpkin goodness long after your treats are baked!

Masking the mess!

We were tired of looking at a messy TV stand...it has a deep shelf, so we can fit lots of crap in the back.
We spend the majority of our weekends staring at it while watching Netflix.
Something had to be done!

Hmmmm...we never realized how many movies we own about strong powerful women.

Foam core and lumberjack plaid, yes please!
Before.

After.

Time to watch some Meryl!

Welcome Fall, Welcome All!

Fall's a comin'!!!
But you can't blow your fall load all in early September...save the pumpkins and candy corn for October.
You gotta gradually get into it!

Bye-bye neon summer, hello rustic fall.
