Our nuts are always a huge hit! Hehe
Old Bay seasoning is a Maryland summer staple.
The seasoning is a mix of mustard, paprika, celery salt, bay leaf, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, mace, cloves, all spice, nutmeg, cardamom and ginger! Damn!
Let's coat our nuts, shall we?!
Ingredients
1 egg white
2 tbs water
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup of Old Bay seasoning
1 pound of raw cashews
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat egg white and water for a least 3 minutes, until foamy.
Slowly add all the sugar and 2 tbs of Old Bay Seasoning...if you add all the Old Bay the egg whites will deflate.
Slowly fold in cashews and mix until well coated.
The goal is to keep it foamy. Less mixing, the better.
Spread on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
The first time you stir, add the rest of the Old Bay seasoning...or more!
The more the merrier!
Nuts, nuts, nuts, nuts, nuts!
Happy Father's Day!

Cards for Dad!
It's always hard trying to figure out what to get for Dad.
Start with a card...the rest will follow!
We made these simple and fun silhouette cards.
Perfect for Dad!
We started by cutting out silhouettes that made us think of Dad!
Andrew did this freehand.
Then we cut thin strips of magazine paper, layered and glued them on the back of our silhouettes.
After our silhouettes were complete we glued them on a folded piece of cardstock!
We think Dad will keep this one for a while!

Dad, get off the can!
Father's Day gifts can become a little monotonous.
So we wanted to get creative with the packaging!
The can becomes apart of the gift as well!
Dad can use it to hold pens, pencils, change...whatever floats your Dad's boat.
Love ya Dad!
So we wanted to get creative with the packaging!
We upcycled our chai can by wrapping some paper around the outside and stuffed it with some manly macho Dad things.

Macho macho man candle.
People don't really decorate for Father's Day, but we'll find any excuse to make a holiday craft!
We cut an old dress shirt and wrapped the cuff around a jar.
Father's Day. VoilĂ .
"Elementary my dear Watson."
