Smells of the Season.

Happy Chinese New Year!
Making a quick stovetop potpourri to fill our apartment with luck and fortune!

Put orange peels and ginger in a saucepan and fill with water.
Place on a low setting burner and enjoy!
Don't let the water completely evaporate, keep refilling.

Stays good for about a week. We throw ours in the fridge when we aren't using it.

Happy year of the Sheep!

Smells of the Season.

Make your home smell like pumpkin spice with a hint of latte!

This is great after you've baked your pumpkin goodie.
Use the left over pumpkin you can't get out of the can...scrape all you want, but you'll never get it all out! (We used Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix, it's all we could find!)
Before you recycle your can, fill it with warm water, swish it around and dump it in a sauce pan.
Add the other ingredients and place on a low setting burner!
Don't let the water completely evaporate, keep refilling.
One mix stays good for about a week!

Keep it smelling like pumpkin goodness long after your treats are baked!
