Make like a tree and leaf.

We found these great looking fake leaves at Michaels but they were attached to an ugly garland.  We decided to pluck off some leaves and hot glue them onto branches we found. And believe us, finding branches in Queens was not an easy task.

We put the branches in one of our smokey jars!

Fall is in the air!

  1. Sometimes the garlands I find are hideous too! I love plucking things off of them to repurpose.

  2. What a fantastic idea ... I love the twig look myself so the fact that you added fall leaves was perfect.

  6. Last year I used some mossy twigs and did a project similar to yours. I love the bright leaves you picked! It says fall!! The mirror, candle...love! Stop by anytime ;) Thanks for sharing at My Favorite Things party. Co host Theresa @DearCreatives

  7. This is really smart! I always see cool fake flowers but think they're too tacky to decorate with. Adding them on a real tree branch totally changes the look. Thanks for linking up to The DIY'ers!
