Memorial Day means summer is coming...finally!
Time to kick back, forget your troubles, enjoy the sun...and EAT!
We're starting our summer with these lip smacking, sweet and savory Lit'l Smokies!
The secret IS in the sauce with these simple ingredients:
2 packages of Lit'l Smokies cocktail sausages.
12 oz bottle of chili sauce.
10 oz of grape jelly...add more if you like it sweeter!
Mix all ingredients in a crock pot or on a stove top on low/simmer until the sauce thickens and clings to the sausages.
It's better the longer it simmers!
Once you pop, you can't stop!
Bring on the Summer!
Who knew!! Grape jelly?! So that's why we can never imitate those tasty little smokies we had them serve at our wedding! Thank you so much. They look SO delicious...my husband's going to be in heaven!
