These creepy little scull toothpicks are frightfully delicious!
These little guys are filled with inspiration.
Our good family friend Sherri has these adorable ceramic scull toothpicks, we didn't know where she got them, but we knew we could make them!!!
Of course these little guys are very Burton-esque, but we also got inspiration from from our friend Nick AKA BrickArts on Instagram. He also has an Etsy Shop! www.etsy.com/shop/BrickArts. He's an incredible artist!
We used Sculpey clay and found these great beads for his "little beady eyes"! Before we baked them (using the directions on the package) we poked holes on the bottom of the sculls for the toothpick to stick in.
After they were baked and hard....ha.ha....we watered down some acrylic black paint and painted in the little details. We sealed them with some Sculpey sealer then glued in metal toothpicks, so we can use them year after year!
Nice work, bone daddy.
Very cool, they turned out great:@)
