We cook a lot throughout the year, but when it starts getting chilly out we end up cooking the most. With the stove on a constant simmer our apartment starts accumulating the smells of past meals.
We're using left over herbs to make smudge sticks!
Smudge sticks have been used by healers for thousands of years to purify stagnent energy. But they can also be used to bring some of the outside in.
Our apartment went from smelling like a kitchen to a small campfire.
Use cotton string to tie bushels of fresh herbs.
We used thyme, sage and rosemary.
Air dry the bushels for about a week, we hung ours to quicken the process.
Light 'em up, up, up, I'm on fire!
LOVE! Will be picking up some extra herbs when I do my Thanksgiving shopping and making some of these. Featuring when my party opens up tonight. Hope you guys are well.
