Color me Beautiful.

Happy Earth Week!  Happy Earth Day!
Celebrating by using as little electricity as possible (lots of candles) and crafting out of recyclables...we all have to do our part.

Can you paint with all the colors...on some traaaaaash?

Chick in a Jar.

We can't believe Easter is here already.
We've been slacking...maybe it's because it doesn't feel like Spring yet.
Here's a quick little Easter jar using things we had around the apartment!

We've had these Quasimodo looking chicks for a while and decided to pair them with some dyed rice and glittery eggs for a cute little Easter scene.

Here's how to dye rice!

(To the tune of D*ck in a Box.)
It's a Chick in a Jar.

Pop Bunny Portraits!

Easter is hard holiday to decorate for!
You always run the fine line between Easter and a child's nursery.

We found these awesome rabbit portraits online and knew we had to use them.
We printed and cut them out!

Then added a little Easter pop with neon paper!

We're so HOPPY about our new vintage bunnies!

When will my reflection show, who I am inside?

Teenie weenie mini clovers!

Even if you're not Irish a little green this time of year doesn't hurt at all!

Paper clovers have been a favorite St. Patricks day decoration. They are super easy and add instant festiveness.

This year we made them mini!

We used a mini heart puncher a thin paint brush and craft glue to put together our clovers.

After the clovers dried, we hot glued floral wire for long bendy stems.

Any knick-knack is suddenly a St. Patty's Day knick-knack!

Check our other paper clover ideas!

It's all about the green!

We collected everything green we had in our apartment for our bookshelf...but turned out, we didn't have as much green as we hoped.

So, we covered our books with cardstock paper for a cohesive impact.

Don't worry...we kept it "green" by only covering what is seen!

Look behind the facade!

Check out how to make these easy paper clovers

Green with envy?

Smells of the Season.

Happy Chinese New Year!
Making a quick stovetop potpourri to fill our apartment with luck and fortune!

Put orange peels and ginger in a saucepan and fill with water.
Place on a low setting burner and enjoy!
Don't let the water completely evaporate, keep refilling.

Stays good for about a week. We throw ours in the fridge when we aren't using it.

Happy year of the Sheep!
