Mazel Tov Pumpkin Spice Elf.

We both have the day off today, YAY! But this might be the last day we have off together for awhile, BOO! Andrew will be working on a production of Fiddler on the Roof while Dennis will be heading out on the road with the National Tour of ELF.

We're spending the day chillin' enjoying each others company...
and since it's International Coffee Day, we decided to make Pumpkin Spice Lattes!

We looked at a whole bunch of different online recipes and just made it our own!
It's pretty simple but needs a lot of different ingredients.

We mixed up 2 parts water and 1 part pumpkin puree then added some cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and sugar. We let it simmer on the stove for a few minutes, then strained it to make the pumpkin syrup.

Make a latte and add the syrup!

Sorry we can't be more precise with our measurements but we don't have any measuring spoons yet! Opps! Just keep adding pinches until you like the way it tastes.

We like a lot of spice and a lot of sweet!

  1. I am moving in at your house. That is ridiculous! :)

  2. This looks so yummy! It's bringing back memories of marvelous market pumpkin lattes.

  3. Do you use whole milk? I use skim and my froth is never as frothy. I'm having froth envy.

  4. Num num yum. Want one right now, elf make it appear!
