We love these vintage Christmas cards and we knew we wanted to display them this year!
So, why not a washi tape clothespin clothesline Christmas card yarn garland!?

Bundled Bottle Cap Snowmen!

We've been saving up our beer bottle caps for these special little guys!

Although these are pretty simple, it was kind of a lengthy process.
The bottle caps needed at least 3 or 4 coats of white acrylic paint.
Once the bottle caps were dry, we drew on the eyes, mouths and buttons using a Sharpie.

Out of orange construction paper, we cut and glued on the noses.
We used a hot glue gun to build our snowmen.
For a little sparkle, we added glitter using Mod Podge.
See, we told you it was lengthy!

We accessorized our snowmen with felt, paper, buttons and pom-poms.
We think they look so cute!
What should we name em?!?

Plaid Tidings!

This year wanted to incorporate some Lumberjack plaid into our Christmas decor.

Rather than buying expensive plaid fabric we bought boxers that were on sale!

We cut and glued the plaid tightly around paper cones from Michael's.
We tried to keep it as neat as possible...thankfully, the plaid is very forgiving.  
Phew!

We paired our plaid trees with our favorite Christmas card from last year.

Our little plaid wonderland!

Nuts 4 nuts!

Sweet coated pecans with a little bit of cinnamon. 
Sugar, spice and everything nice!

Ingredients 
1 egg white
2 tbs water
1-2 tsp of cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
a pinch of salt
1 pound pecan halves

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat egg white and water for at least 3 minutes, until foamy.

Slowly add sugar and cinnamon.
Stir in pecan halves and mix until well coated.

Spread on a baking sheet and sprinkle salt.
Bake in oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Warning: These sweet nuts are addicting!

Washi tape reindeer.

We are seeing this wooden reindeer everywhere.
But we like our's the best! Duh!

We got all our supplies from Michaels.

We layered our favorite washi tape on the reindeer and cleaned the edges with a razor.

The most famous reindeer of all!

Snow, there's no place like home for holidays...

Our friend Jen at Burning Tears sent us her "Home for the Holidays" tea lights!

They're SOY cute and smell SOY Christmas-ey!

We wanted to give them a home...for the holidays...and you know how much we like our glass jars!

The snow is actually epsom salt!

And since we've no place to go, let it salt!  Let it salt!  Let it salt!

Bring the outdoors inside and make a festive arrangement!

We upcycled cans by wrapping them in the some plaid fabric.

We clipped some of our neighbors overgrown greenery...we think they would approve!

And the prettiest sight you'll see is the holly that will be in your own plaid can!
