Post-it Eggs!

We can't believe Easter snuck up on us so quickly!
We are decorating eggs with very little mess or skill involved!

Post-it eggs!!! We used the sticky strip of the Post-it note, scissors, a hole punch and got creative!

Didn't they turn out eggcellent? Yak yak yak.

Or should we say "yoke yoke yoke"?

A tisket, a tasket.

While trying to get some Easter inspiration, Andrew whipped out this adorable paper basket!

It's made with paper strips, glue and a little bit of love!

We're gonna use it as a candle holder or for some Easter chocolate goodies!

A tisket, a tasket...a modern paper basket!

Lucky Clover Runner!

We love our little upcycled heart punch clovers!
Each year we try to do something different with them.
This year we made a lucky clover runner patch!

We painted a thin piece of styrofoam to use as a base and started to fill it up with clovers.

And paired them up with golden Monopoly pieces that we've been saving for the perfect craft! A little bling never hurt nobody!

So fresh and so green, green!

Presidential Whiskey Chocolate Cherries!

Happy President's Day!
We cannot tell a lie, we're celebrating with booze soaked cherries...covered in chocolate!

About a week ago, we drained a jar of maraschino cherries and filled it with whiskey.
Last night we put the cherries on a baking sheet and died them in the fridge.
This helps the chocolate coat the cherries.

We dipped our boozy cherries in melted semi-sweet chocolate and popped them back in the fridge to cool.
So much waiting...but so worth it!!!

Hail to the Chief!
